Addiction

An addiction is a recurring compulsion by an individual to engage in some specific activity.

The word addiction is also sometimes used colloquially to refer to something for which a person has a passion, such as books, chocolate, work, the web, running, or eating

Treatment of dependency is conducted by a wide range of medical and allied professionals, including Addiction Medicine specialists, psychiatrists, and appropriately trained nurses, social workers, and counselors.

Is there any question??

Yes. You back there.

Can we apply this to a person??

Your Tie

in 1962.....

George Martin signed The Beatles
After reconsidering the Beatles
Corrected all their "mistake"
George Martin asked
" If there's anything you don't like, just tell me "
George Harrison answered....

a couple months ago...

I just got a confession that a good friend of mine has loved me for the last 11 years
After series of unsuccessful courting
and an endless rejection
He asked me
"Why can't you just love me?"
sighing, I said...

"Sir, I just don't like your tie"

Kuta beach

The small of sand tastes sweet in my lips
A liquor of Jack D inside a bottle of Aqua
A hidden smile looks good on you
then you nod.. asking me to sit with you

UH: Can I ask you something?
J: Of course.... Tonight you can ask me anything
UH: Why are you so cheerful? I'm here listening to your life stories and I don't get it. How come you're so happy?
J: (I smile)
UH: Wait a minute... You're not happy aren't you?
J: Everybody wears their own mask, honey.
UH: Can I tell you something?
J: You're going to tell me anyway right?

UH: (his smiles can melt my heart)

Every person walk around this planet like an empty jar.
And they are always trying to find a way to fill this jar
So most of them will try to find big rocks to fill it
These big rocks can be so many different things for each person
It can be a very succesful career, happy marriage, and many others
But they don't realize they still have this empty spaces between the big rocks
That's why most of them will always feel empty
Do you want to know the real secret to be happy?

You fill the jar with sands
Little by little, ever small, insignificant happiness you fill that in your jar
and finally you jar is filled and full..
That's when you feel like you don't need to find anything else and stop looking...

J: Then let me ask you this. Are you happy?
UH: Are you kidding me? Sitting on a beach waitingfor a sunrise with a Jack D in my hands and a great company besides me. What else I'm looking for? Yes. I am happy.

the ocean is smiling at us
the moon began to dissapear
the wind is playing with my hair
he brush my hair from my forehead

UH: Come on. Let's drive you home. You have to go to work in 2 hours

Good morning heartache
You old gloomy sight
Good morning heartache
Thought we said goodbye last night
I turned and tossed until it seems you have gone
But here you are with the dawn
Wish I forget you, but you’re here to stay
It seems I met you
When my love went away
Now everyday I stop I’m saying to you
Good morning heartache what’s new

Stop haunting me now
Can’t shake you no how
Just leave me alone
I’ve got those Monday blues
Straight to Sunday blues
Good morning heartache
Here we go again
Good morning heartache
You’re the one
Who knows me well
Might as well get use to you hanging around
Good morning heartache
Sit down

A girl asks a boy "Why there should be love?"

The boy reply "So there would be great stories to be told when we get old”

If it is that true love never dies, then why all lovers have to struggle to stay alive?

Fishing

When there is a goldfish
that lives in the ocean and took a bait

Who should we blame?

the ocean for keeping the goldfish when he knows the goldfish doesn't belong there
the goldfish because she's living in the ocean, and she is a freshwater fish
the goldfish because she took the bait
the bait because he tries to seduce the goldfish that doesn't belong in the ocean
or the fisherman that seduce the goldfish with the bait?

Labeling

RF: (after 4 months knowing me) Tapi loe tuh sebagai cewek emang dominant banget. Gw rasa selama ini pasti loe yg dominasi cowok2 loe.

AC: (after 1.5 hours meet) A smart, tough dominant girl like you. In Indonesia market, diinjak atau menginjak. It's either you're going to get a whimpy guy or a much older guy. BTW, 'strong' is a soft way to say that you're dominant

T: (after meet up 4 times) Aduuuhhh jen, kalo loe mau punya cowok harus lebih feminin dikit.

AW: (after almost 6 years we never met) Oh single? Emang cewek kayak loe terlalu independent sih untuk bergantung ama cowok. Too little vagina and to much penis yah?

Whooa.. what's with the labeling and stereotyping?

Whoever my PR is.. she needs to get fired

"Jen, you're like a crocodile-skin Louis Vitton bag. Only people with particular taste will know the real value, and most importantly, not that many people can afford it."

hmm... ok.. I can live with that
Tapi bo... jangan lama2 ya nabungnya.... nanti gw discount kan ga lucu

Reality Bites

One night

One Call

One small secret revelation

She whispers between the voices of her pain

"I sabotage my own relationship... I wonder whether I'll be able to make any relationship work"

Oh baby,

I really want to tell you...

that we are fucked up

Fucked up by Disney.. That's what I really wanted to tell you
We grow up watching these movies....
Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty..... thinking that we are the damsel in distress and we need a knight in shining armor to save us..

There's even a whole disorder named after one of disney character

Cinderella Complex

Described as an unconscious desire to be taken care of by others, based primarily on a fear of being independent.

This complex is named after the fairy tale character Cinderella, popularized by the Disney movie of the same name. It is based on the idea of women that the story portrays, as being beautiful, graceful and polite but who cannot be strong independent characters themselves, and who must be rescued by an outside force, usually a man (e.g. the Prince). Any strong female characters who do have power are seen as wicked and nefarious (e.g. the stepmother).

We really do have to applaud them..
We've been really screwed, man..

Well baby,
Wake up and the smell the stinkin' roses ..
Nobody will save us
No knight, No Prince Charming that will come in their white horse, bring us glass slipper and wake us from our 1000years of sleeping
Happily Ever After is overrated
1 out 2 marriage ends up in divorce
And I bet the other half just hate each other and stay for the sake of the kid
If the statistic doens't make you depressed, I don't know what else

Even Barbie and Ken have a famous on-off relationship
and Barbie has thirty-eight recorded pets, owned pink convertibles, trailers, jeeps, holds a pilot's license, and lacking 17 to 22 percent body fat required.
If she can't make it, I don't know who else

As sabotaging your relationship..
you're not Barbie and he's not prince charming that will save you
So I say....
If you're lucky enough to find one person that can make your stomach twist
you hold on to it and embrace it

These days you'll be lucky if you can find someone that you can live with
even when ideally you want to find someone that you can't live without
